What Can I Expect

Welcome to the Learner Driver Motorsport Academy! Traditionally aimed at under 17s, these experiences are also great for learner drivers of any age, or even those who want a refresher in driving skills.

The sessions, which take place at the London Motor Circuit, are all about building up confidence in a relaxed and fun way, away from the public roads, in a safe, controlled environment.

The minimum age for these sessions is 11 years old, with a minimum height of 4ft 8" (so they can reach the pedals). Cars are all dual-controlled, so both student and instructor have the power to control and stay in control!

The programme for the session includes a short welcome and briefing, before heading out to the awaiting car. Under the guidance of the highly-skilled instructor, you will be encouraged to get to grips with the car on the dedicated academy training area. After practicing, you will be encouraged to execute a few moves to show off your skills.

If you’re buying this Academy voucher for an under 17 year old, accompanying Mums and Dads are welcome to watch from the pit-lane and we're sure you will be bursting with pride as your little one drives smoothly around the arena.

A quick debrief from the instructor rounds off the experience and hopefully you will be awarded your Learner Driver Motorsport Academy Licence!

  • Weight restrictions: Maximum 18 stone
  • Participants should be physically fit with no serious health conditions

  • Friends and family are welcome to come along

Anything Else

  • Flat soled shoes must be worn
  • Glasses must be worn if needed
  • Refreshments and snacks are available to purchase onsite
  • Drivers will need to sign a form accepting risk and vehicle damage liability of up to  £10,000+VAT.  Alternatively damage liability reduction is available to purchase on the day starting from £27
  • Please note rebooking within 14 days of your booking will incur a fee
  • Any participant entering a vehicle will be requested to complete a Disclaimer signed by a parent/guardian in order to participate in their experience
