What Can I Expect

Sign up for the 'Pro Series' Motorsport Academy at London Motor Circuit! Open to those with little or no driving experience from the age of 11 years upwards, these experiences give you the chance to drive a sporty car in a dedicated driving area.

The cars used for these academies are usually the Porsche Boxster and the Mazda RX8. The Boxster is the two seater convertible and we have to say, Porsche has got that 'fun in a small package' thing all wrapped up with this car.

The Mazda RX8 is the rarer, big cousin of the little MX5. The RX8 is a rear-wheel drive sports coupé that loves to race, be it on the mean streets of Japan or in a Daytona track race. And take a look at how the rear doors open - they're mad!

Of course, you won't just be jumping into these cars and heading off on your own. The whole idea of this Pro Series academy is to be taught some skills, as well as having fun. An instructor will be in the passenger seat and all cars are dual-control, so everything proceeds in a safe and controlled way.

Using the dedicated Academy track area, you will put the Porsche or Mazda through its paces. After a quick practice, students will be asked to perform a series of moves. A few tense minutes of waiting whilst the instructor completes the Academy assessment and, hopefully, you will be proudly waving your Pro Series licence as you climb out of the driver's seat!

Holders of this licence can then go on to book further experiences driving even more powerful supercars with the same operator. The Learner Driver Pro Series Academy is the perfect experience for go-getters of all ages who don’t have a driving licence! 

When Is It Available

• Regular Saturday afternoons and occasional Sunday dates throughout the year
• Experiences are subject to availability and weather conditions

Suitable For

• Age restrictions: Minimum 11
• Height restrictions: Minimum 4ft 8ins, maximum 6ft 2ins
• Weight restrictions: Maximum 18 stone
• Participants should be physically fit with no serious health conditions

Spectators

• Friends and family are welcome to come along

Anything Else

• Flat soled shoes must be worn
• Glasses must be worn if needed
• Refreshments and snacks are available to purchase onsite
• Drivers will need to sign a form accepting risk and vehicle damage liability of up to £10,000+VAT.  Alternatively damage liability reduction is available to purchase on the day starting from £27
• Please note rebooking within 14 days of your booking will incur a fee
• Any participant entering a vehicle will be requested to complete a Disclaimer signed by a parent/guardian in order to participate in their experience if under 18
