What Can I Expect
Helicopter rides over Kent! Setting off from Headcorn Aerodrome, you’ll be treated to the incredible views, beauty and the history of the Weald of Kent. We are offering vouchers for 20, 30 and 40-minute flights in executive helicopters.
Headcorn is a superb departure point for these shared rides. As soon as you’re airborne, those sweeping Kentish vistas come into view to wow you. And of course, this being Kent, there are many castles, stately homes and historic places to discover from the air.
From the impeccable Sackville-West designed gardens at Sissinghurst Castle near Cranbrook, the picturesque moat at Scotney, to the infinitely impressive Leeds Castle and the lovely 14th century Bodiam Castle near Robertsbridge, there is so much to see in a helicopter when you set off from Headcorn!
Your pilot host will point out the things to see as you swoop past. You can even make out details such as the incredible 1400-tree maze at Leeds Castle and even see golfers going for that birdie on the 17th hole. Everything is visible, in miniature, from the air.
Helicopter rides out of Kent’s Headcorn Aerodrome are generally operated by Bell 206 Jet Ranger helicopters, offering a very comfortable ride and clear views for everyone onboard. Book your seat onboard and get ready to see the scenic best of the Kentish Weald from 1000ft!
