What Can I Expect
Golf GTI Automatic Learner Driver Experience! Give juniors the chance to jump into the driver's seat and experience the road for the first time.
Designed for ages 10 and up, this session is the perfect introduction for anyone without a driving licence. There is no need for previous experience, making it an accessible and exciting gift for juniors.
The car of choice is an automatic Golf GTI, which simplifies the whole learning process. Without the need to master a clutch or gear stick, drivers can focus purely on steering and car control.
Safety is the top priority, which is why everything takes place in a controlled environment. You’ll be far away from public traffic, allowing for a relaxed and focused learning atmosphere. An experienced instructor will be right there in the passenger seat to provide constant support.
They are experts at teaching young people and know exactly how to build a driver’s confidence.
Participants can choose between a 3-mile or 6-mile drive to suit their level of enthusiasm. Each mile provides a valuable opportunity to understand how a vehicle moves and responds.
This is more than just a drive; it's a foundation for their future time on the road. Seeing the smile on their face as they successfully navigate a corner is a highlight for any parent.

Suitable For
- Designed for juniors and first-time drivers aged 10 and over.
- No driving licence or previous experience is necessary
- Minimum height 4ft 3 ins
- Under 18's must be accompanied by an adult on site
- This is not suitable if you have previously had back, neck or knee problems
Spectators
- Friends and family are more than welcome to come along and watch the junior drivers in action
- Venues provide designated spectator areas with a good view of the driving zone
Anything Else
- Although there are guidelines for minimum height for young drivers, the operator must ensure they are physically able and safe to drive the car on the day. In the event they are unable to drive the car safely, an alternative will be given
- All drivers on the day will have the option to pay a non-refundable £34 damage waiver which will cover them against any damage that may be caused to the vehicle(s) in the event of an incident
- Drivers who do not wish to take this waiver will need to sign a disclaimer and will need to be able to cover the cost on the day for any damage to the vehicle up to a maximum amount of £5000. Credit card details will need to be provided with £5000 limit or above for this reason. Debit cards are accepted however please be aware a pre-authorisation applies to debit cards to check funds are available
- Once you have booked your date with the supplier should you need to to cancel within 7 days of your booking, a charge of £29 per car to re-book will apply. This also applies to cancellations due to Covid.
- Cancellation cover is available at the time of booking your date for £30 which would cover any last minute cancellation.
