This amazing experience will see you spending all day with the Ecclesbourne railway team, as you crew a steam train with three coaches attached for a full 48 miles.

That means you will have several journeys along the track, allowing you to learn lots about what keeping these beautifully-restored steam locomotives travelling smoothly on the tracks entails.

From the moment you arrive, you’ll be welcomed into this close-knit and friendly Derbyshire team with a spot of breakfast and a brew to start your day.

You will be on the footplate of the loco or the full 48 miles and you will be hands-on with both driving and firing. What we love about these exclusive Gold experiences is that your plus one can ride on the footplate and/or in the coaches you are pulling.
