What Can I Expect

A donkey experience in Norfolk for two! Spend a delightful hour meeting the loveable donkeys in the heart of the Norfolk Broads.

Mid-way between Cromer and Great Yarmouth, you'll find this wonderful farmstead. It's home to Amanda and Barry, who have created a little slice of heaven to welcome their family of rescued animals.

You'll be invited to the meadows to meet the herd of donkeys who live there all together. They are a comical bunch. You've got the likes of Freckles, Pixie, Doogle, Bradley, Romeo and Peanuts. Each one has their own character and personality. And we can tell you this, Peanut might be the smallest, but she's definitely the bossy leader of the gang!

Donkeys are highly intelligent, gentle and affectionate, which you'll experience for yourself when you meet them at their Norfolk home. They all absolutely love the kisses and cuddles and they're sometimes quite cheeky too.

In essence, they're great fun to be around, to the point of being positively therapeutic and relaxing. After all, you can't ponder your problems when a donkey is nuzzling you for attention!

Oh and don't be surprised if the equally curious and cheeky goats come and join in - they always like to meet visitors too.

Owner Amanda will be your host for these meet and greets. She's passionate about all her animals and will be able to tell you all about her donkey herd, whilst you get stuck in with the grooming, feeding, cuddling and walking with the donkeys.
