We are offering two Nottingham Castle ticket packages for you. The 'Tickets and Tea' deal gives two of you entrance tickets for the castle and a traditional afternoon tea at the Terrace Cafe in the Ducal Palace, with stunning views over the vibrant city centre.

Our family ticket package is for two adults (17 years+) and three children (5-16yrs). It offers excellent value for money because you get entrance to the castle as well as tickets for the Robin Hood Adventure interactive digital experience and the underground Castle Cave tour too. Make sure you allow all day for this family experience, as there is so much fun to be had!

Nottingham Castle sits atop the 40 metre-high Castle Rock, looking down on the city. In 1068 William the Conqueror ordered the first castle to be built on the site to keep an eye on those rebellious Notts folk. Several wars, conflicts, revolutions and sieges later, the castle you see now was first transformed into a gallery by the celebrated local architect TC Hine in 1878.

Today the castle is a world-class attraction. The grounds are lovely (and kids adore the Hood Hideout playground) and the exhibitions in the castle are fascinating. They pay homage to everything from Nottingham lace and designer Paul Smith, to a certain outlaw they called Robin Hood and that Sheriff too.

A visit to Nottingham is not complete without discovering the castle. Purchase your Nottingham Castle tickets online and get ready to explore inside, around and even underneath this brilliant castle that’s just a short walk from the bustling city centre.
