This family-run business in Filton specialises in reptile care and experiences. Beyond their shop front is a whole different world. The latest residents to move in are the adorable meerkats who have their very own small enclosure called the Meerkat Manor.

What we love about this Bristol meerkat experience is the fact that you will be going inside the enclosure. The experienced keepers will tell you what to do, but in essence just relax and let the curious little mammals come to you.

They are certainly inquisitive, so they're often quite keen to meet new humans. This Filton team believes these encounters are beneficial and enriching for both the meerkats and the humans - and you'll learn lots about each other!

With their broad heads, pointed snout (all the better for sniffing you out), long legs, foreclaws (for digging) and those cute-as-a-button wide eyes, everyone loves a meerkat don't they? They are truly fascinating creatures who are sociable and resilient too, living together in packs in their native hot and arid habitats.

You'll spend a total of around two hours at this meerkat experience venue near Bristol. Suitable for all ages from six years, it makes a lovely day out for the family, as you learn all about meerkats' characters and behaviour.
