What Can I Expect

Sensational private Peak District helicopter tours for two or four people! You will be the only passengers on these helicopter rides over the stunning Peak District. Lasting around 60-minutes, you'll see all the wonderful sights and landmarks of the area.

Taking a ride in an executive helicopter is pretty special. When that ride sees you soaring over some of the loveliest parts of the Peak District, it makes it all extra-special. Add to that the fact that these tours are offered as private charters and you've got yourself the ultimate in Peak District sightseeing.

All trips depart from the helicopter company's Nottingham headquarters at Widmerpool. Your route will take you over the River Trent and past the market towns of Nottingham and Derby in the direction of Matlock.

During your 60-minute flight experience you'll explore the best of the beauty of the Peak District. Looking down on rock formations such as Mam Tor, Curbar Edge, Owler Tor and Eagle Stone is breathtaking. Soaring over the Hope Valley and popular villages like Eyam with its fascinating museum and craft centre is a delight. And the National Trust's Longshaw Estate and Bamford Mill are very picturesque too.

An absolute highlight for many is flying over beautiful Chatsworth House. Keep your eyes peeled for the tumbling waters of the Cascade and the Emperor Fountain. And talking of water, there's no better way to round off a helicopter ride over the Peak District than with a fly past over Ladybower reservoir and the Derwent Valley.

Don't forget, these are private Peak District helicopter tours, so the prices are for the whole helicopter, with vouchers for either two or four passengers. Perfect for romantic gestures, celebrations and family treats, these tours around the prettiest parts of Derbyshire are a delight for all ages.
