What Can I Expect
Got a drone? You need our drone lessons in Hertfordshire! These half-day, small-group training sessions give you all the info you need to get started with your drone flying.
The idea of owning a drone appeals to many of us. But just how do you fly without crashing? How do you get pictures and video footage? What are the current laws when it comes to drones? All these questions and a whole lot more will be comprehensively answered for you on these lessons.
Hosted by an expert and fully qualified drone pilot with a background in aviation, you'll be in good hands. During your four-hour course, both theory and practical elements will be covered. That means you have a good mix of tutorials and hands-on flying.
Everything will be talked about in a clear and easy to understand way. Important things like the DRAMES registration (that's the Drone & Model Aircraft Registration & Education Scheme) will be thoroughly explained, so you will be on the right track when it comes to all current drone legislation.
For the practical parts of these drone courses, you'll be in an open space in the Tring or Harpenden area. The exact location depends on weather conditions (drones don't like flying in bad weather!) and it will be decided prior to your lesson date.
As well as flying your own drone, there will be opportunities to try one of the school's drone fleet, which is made up of Maverick Pros. By the end of these small-group drone lessons in Hertfordshire you'll be well on the way to being a confident drone flyer.
