What can I expect on the day

Now here's a rare thing - go karts for kids and adults on the track at the same time, so all the family can enjoy the sport of karting together! One thing's for sure, it's going to be competitive between the children and the parents out there to see who is the best karter in the clan.

These sessions for juniors and (in theory) older, more mature go karting fans are great fun. It's like a party out there as the excitement mounts. But yes, as you might suspect, it's often the grown ups who are cheekier and even more enthusiastic than the kids!

As for the karts you'll be driving, the kids have their own cadet machines, which are restricted to a still pretty powerful 120cc. The adults have the slight advantage in that they have the 200cc Biz karts which are petrol-driven pocket rockets of the karting world. All are incredibly easy to drive, agile and make all the right noises to get you properly into this karting lark.

When we say race, these TeamSport karting experiences are run as open timed family sessions where each go-karter's lap times are logged, recorded, shown on the electronic scoreboard and printed out for you all at the end of your track time. So be warned, if you've been absolutely trounced by your kids in their karts, they will take great pleasure in waving their lap printouts in your face!

Anyone in your family group not keen on taking to the track can cheer along the crew from the sidelines as each circuit venue offers some excellent spectator spots and there's the Fuel Bar and Food stop if watching all that action makes you peckish or thirsty. But really, this experience is all about the go karts for kids and the fact that the adults can get in on the act too!
