What Can I Expect

Embark on a Thames tea cruise for a delicious combination of sweet treats and sightseeing, whilst you glide effortlessly along London's famous river!

Of course, it's not just about the cakes on this capital cruise. There'll be freshly brewed tea and coffee, as well as a neat selection of sandwiches served on a three-tier plate, all rounded off with those 'must-have' scones. And they are accompanied by a good old dollop of thick, gooey cream and a sizeable scoop of jam too.

Make sure you don't get too engrossed in the tea at your table though, otherwise you'll miss all those classic London landmarks as you cruise the Thames on your round trip. With massive panoramic windows all around on these modern cruise vessels, you won't have to crane your neck to catch a glimpse of those riverbank sights - they are in full view. And we think the buildings are all the more impressive when seen from the water.

These tea cruises leave from Tower Pier and head up the Thames. Your food and drink is served at your table by attentive staff and service starts pretty much as soon as you set off. That means you have plenty of time to polish off your platter and savour that cup of refreshing tea or coffee.

It also means there is ample opportunity to leave your seat and head up onto the open top deck of the boat. This is that 'wind in the hair' moment, as you take in the fresh air and the wonderful 360-degree vistas of London from the Thames. Make sure to take your camera with you, there are some top snapshots to be had.

On the return leg of your Thames tea cruise, you'll be pinpointing and picking out the interesting things to see as you make your way back to London's Tower Pier. All in all, the sailing lasts around 90 minutes, giving you plenty of time to eat, drink, chat and enjoy the sightseeing too.
