Get to grips with a slippery snake on these new predator experiences

There are lots of phobias in the world. The more unusual include the likes of Coulrophobia, which is the fear of clowns, Bambakophobia which is actually the fear of cotton wool balls and even Lachanophobia, which is the fear of vegetables – scary things those parsnips poking out of the ground in some peoples’ eyes!

Well, Into the Blue can’t do much about these sorts of phobias, but we can offer a way to get over the classic fears of snakes, spiders and flapping birds with our brand new predator experience in Cumbria.

Spend time in the company of these furry fiends and come face to face with your irrational fears (afterall, none of the animals you’ll meet on this predator experience are actually after you!), all led by experts in the fields of spiders, snakes and birds of prey.

Go face to face with a tarantula...ewww!

Whether you feel a little apprehensive on the way to this wildlife centre set in the heart of Lake District area, or you’re a fan of non-cuddly animals already, you’ll be brimming over with excitement in preparation for meeting the predators. And believe when we say they aren’t as scary as you think they would be!

All experiences are rounded off with a Hawk walk around land on the edge of Lake Windermere, so you’ll even get the chance to see the Harris Hawks hunting in the wild – a truly memorable experience for all ages.
