And finally...a little bit about who we are
Into the Blue certainly has reason to be proud of its roots. Our company started life in 1996 as Air Activity Gift Vouchers, an off-shoot of Air Displays International Ltd. Based right on the airfield at the legendary Biggin Hill airport, Air Displays International has been responsible for organising the world-renowned Biggin Hill Air Fair and other air shows, since 1963.
The idea behind Air Activity Gift Vouchers was simple. Every year, over 60,000 spectators attend the Air Fair and we realised many of these fans of flying would actually like to 'have a go' themselves. Working closely with established aviation contacts, a nationwide range of air-based experiences was offered for sale.
As the idea of selling activity gift vouchers quite literally took off, we were keen to expand into other areas. In 1998 Into the Blue was established and we started to add a whole range of different activities to our portfolio.
Since then, the spectrum of activities has steadily increased and we now offer in excess of 700 experiences. With an ever-expanding team of staff, Into the Blue moved into purpose built offices, still on the Biggin Hill site, at the start of 2006.
