Surfing stand up style is one of the most satisfying but demanding of all board sports. This surf school based in Newquay in Cornwall aims to provide the most professional surf coaching available with the instructors not only giving you a structured lesson which deals with your abilities, but will show you some of the real essence of surfing. It may be an age old cliche, but for many surfing is not just a sport, more a way of life.
Once you've decided to take the plunge, it's full steam ahead with the fully qualified staff who are there to help you (and believe us, they have the patience of saints!). You'll be given all the up to date gear so hopefully you will be riding the curl in no time like a real surf dude or dudette!
Sessions last between two and three hours. All activities are mobile within the Newquay area, so your instructors can teach you in the most suitable conditions. You may be part of a small group of up to 16 others taking part on the day, although usually the groups are much smaller. All equipment, protective clothing and wetsuits are provided as required. The operator is a member of the Adventure Activity Licencing Authority.
Activities take place all year round (subject to suitable conditions) on weekends and selected weekdays. Half day sessions usually start at 0930 and 1330. If conditions prevent a particular type of activity taking place you will be offered an alternative activity on the day or an alternative date.
