A really exciting gift activity specially geared for children. Kids can learn to scuba dive in safety with these fun 'have a go' workshops for youngsters aged from 8 years upwards, that usually take place in small indoor swimming pools, with many centres across England to choose from.

The emphasis on the Bubblemaker experience is on fun and learning, in a safe and controlled environment. All instructors are fully PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) qualified and all diving equipment needed for the experience is provided. During the experience, the kids will master some of the basic concepts and scuba skills such as hand signals and use of equipment.

Once you get the hang of it kids, you will enjoy the exhilaration of the feeling of weightlessness whilst breathing under water and there is plenty of time to put into practice these new skills in the pool.

Centres may vary, but in general the Bubblemaker experience is usually 1.5hrs in total, with at least 1hr in the water. All participants will have a safety briefing before being kitted out. The sessions take place in indoor/outdoor pools with fully qualified instructors.


Discover scuba sessions run on selected days throughout the year on weekdays and weekends. Dates and times will vary according to the dive centre used.


The Bubblemaker experience is open to anyone aged 8+ years, (kids over 10 can take part in adult Discover Scuba sessions).  You must be comfortable in the water and able to swim. All participants will need to satisfactorily complete medical forms before being able to take part in the experience. Please take a towel and swimwear with a t-shirt to wear in the water.


As all locations used are different, please check when booking regarding spectators, but as most experiences take place at indoor pools with good facilities, spectators are usually welcome.
