This jet skiing experience on an inland lake near Wellingborough is on an exclusive basis, so there's no hanging around on the pontoon getting cold waiting for your turn - you have 30 minutes to ride and they're all yours.

This water sports centre uses Yamaha Superjet stand up jet skis, known in water sports circles as being the jetski of choice for racers and freestylers alike, so these aren't watered down versions, they are the real deal. If you've never ridden a jet ski before, the instructor will start you off kneeling. As confidence grows you'll be standing and before you know it, attempting to lean into the corners for a tight turn or even doing some tricks.

As for the setting for your jet skiing session, it couldn't be better. The Alpine clubhouse is a modern and very well kitted out building with patios and terraces overlooking the water, so ideal for friends and family to watch the action on the water. There are also warm showers and changing facilities inside - great for winding down after the excitement of your jet skiing session.

This is a one to one exclusive experience with just you and the instructor. The session will begin with a safety briefing and instruction of the controls. An experienced instructor will then show you the basics and allow you to practice, before progressing to more advanced techniques. The experience will last for 30 minutes. You will be presented with a personalised certificate as a memento. You may bring a friend along and share the driving time between you.


Jetski experiences are available on weekend dates throughout the year excluding December, January and February when the site closes for winter.


Experiences take place at Grendon Lakes family complex near Wellingborugh in Northamptonshire.


A minimum age of 17 is required. The maximum weight is 18 stone. All safety equipment and wetsuits are provided by the venue. Participants must bring along their own towel and must arrive 30 minute before the start time.


Spectators are welcome to watch the experiences from the viewing areas around the site. The venue offers a large clubhouse serving drinks and snacks. There is ample parking available onsite.
