Enjoy family jet skiing in Berkshire! We love this experience as it's a chance for you and the kids to enjoy a day out on the water riding Jetbikes or JetRIBs on this fantastic inland lake. With this family jet skiing activity one adult can drive and up to two children can ride as passengers.
The lake you'll be on is a 25 acre weed-free fresh water lake, the Jet Bikes and Ribs are well maintained by a team of inhouse mechanics and there are fully qualified RYA instructors on hand to show you the controls and get you started off on the training area of the lake. Whether you choose the Jet RIB, which is like a mini powerboat, or the Jet Bike, which is a sit down version of a Jet Ski, there is plenty of room for you and the kids.
Once you and the family have got the hang of the jet ski on the training lake, you'll head over to the main one mile long course, marked out by buoys. You'll find it challenging and fun as you skim the water on the high speed straights, smile as the kids squeal with delight with water spraying up when you take the tight turns and enjoy riding the waves.
This family jet skiing experience is a great day out for all of you. The setting near Reading is very pleasant, with a lakeside clubhouse and stone terrace area with tables and parasols so your friends and family can watch all the jet ski action on the lake. In summer months there are regular BBQs too, as well as kitchen serving snacks and drinks.
Families can choose to ride either a sit down Jetbike or Jetrib allowing one adult and up to two children on one machine. The experience will last one hour and includes a welcome and safety briefing, machine introduction session and instruction with an RYA qualified instructor for the adult. Families will receive approximately 30 minutes riding time which can be shared between participants. Wetsuits, buoyancy aids and towels are provided for all.
The venue is open from April to October 31st. Experiences are available six days a week (closed Tuesdays) during this time.
The Jetski Park is a 25 acre lake which provides a one mile course for Jetbikes or Jetribs located in Berkshire near Reading.
A minimum age of 16 is required to drive the Jetbikes and Jetribs and a minimum age of 3 years old to be a passenger. All under 18’s must be accompanied onsite by a parent or guardian who must sign an indemnity on their behalf. An instructor will ride on board with participants for the initial training.
Family and friends are welcome to come along to spectate from the viewing areas around the Clubhouse. Drinks and snacks are available to purchase from the kitchen and bar onsite. Other facilities include changing and shower rooms, children's play and paddling area and onsite shop.
