These airplane messages are available at locations within the range of the airfield, namely Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire and you can choose what you want to write on your aerial banner (within the banner dimensions) for no extra cost, with just a week needed to prepare your personalised banner message.

Your flying banner will be towed by a Piper Cub flown by a specialist pilot. Whether it is for a birthday, anniversary or proposal the message can be personalised to suit your needs. Banner production takes approximately one week. The banner will usually be flown over your specified address for approximately 40 minutes. You will also be entitled to a 15 minute taster trial flying lesson in a Piper Cherokee which can be taken as a separate experience.
This experience is available from April – September. Other times may be available but are weather dependant. Should weather conditions prevent a banner flight on your chosen date the display can be rescheduled for an alternative date, a revised message and location can also usually be accommodated if required. The flying lesson element can be taken on most weekdays and weekends throughout the year.
Your banner can be flown for 40 minutes over a specified location with coverage including Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire. The banner is visible from approximately 2 miles. The departure airfield is based in Hertfordshire and has excellent road links with easy access from both the A1(M) and M25.
Banners can be tailored to your requirements with a maximum message length of 36 characters (27 characters with large lettering). Letters are approximately 1.5 metres in height. Banners take around a week to prepare. Flight destinations may be subject to air traffic control restrictions. Banner flights are susceptible to wind and weather conditions on the day, if a flight is cancelled and no alternative date be suitable, refunds are subject to a banner construction fee of up to £200.
For the flying lesson element the minimum age is 14 years and a height between 4'6' and 6'4''. There is a maximum weight of 18 st 12lb. Photographic ID may be requested for lessons.
