
Learn to play snooker like a Pro! Go snooker loopy with a full day of coaching at a state of the art snooker centre in the heart of Sheffield. The city has a long heritage with snooker, hosting the World Snooker Championship at the Crucible Theatre, so where better to learn to how to cue?
Whether you're a total beginner or already enjoy playing snooker, these full day workshops are fantastic as you have one to one coaching and practice sessions, so all teaching is geared to your playing level and given by ex-professional players and World Snooker grade A coaches. Everything you need to learn snooker is provided for you, or you can bring your own cue.
The centre boasts 10 full size Star tables maintained to championship standards with steel block cushions, TV style lighting, Strachan cloths and Aramith Tournament balls, so it's no surprising that the venue attracts resident professionals including China's number one Ding Junhui. You might also rub shoulders with the likes of Ronnie O'Sullivan, Peter Ebdon and Ken Doherty who have been known to practice here too.
This learn to play snooker experience is an exciting day out for any snooker fan and provides expert tuition that'll see you potting the reds then screwing back to for the yellow, green, brown, blue, pink and black!

Your learn to play snooker experience lasts around seven hours and includes a three course lunch for all participants. Fully qualified snooker coaches will give you a brief history of snooker and the theories of the game before offering one to one tuition according to your playing level. After the lunch break you will return to the snooker tables for further practice sessions. The day finishes with presentation of certificates and a photocall with resident and professional players. All equipment you need to play is provided for you.

Snooker experiences are offered at this venue seven days a week, all year round subject to availability (the venue is sometimes unavailable due to hosting tournaments).

The venue for this experience is a state of the art snooker academy in Sheffield within the Sheffield United Football Club complex.

The minimum age for learning to play snooker at this venue is 10 years old and those under 16 wishing to take part should be accompanied by a parent of guardian.

Up to four friends and family are welcome to come along watch. Lunch is included for the participants only, but spectators can also buy food on the day. The centre has excellent facilities and is a state of the art snooker academy.
