Your learn to DJ experience will take place in the studio's DJ suite, in your choice of Manchester or Croydon, which has a relaxed and creative atmosphere. The in-house DJ's and sound engineers will be on hand to share their expertise and help you learn about recording technology, DJ-ing techniques and master the secret knowledge of mixing.  As you practice your tune spinning and mixing skills, they will ensure you get the most out of your studio time dropping your favourite dance tracks in this professional environment.

Following a practice session the studio engineer will help you record your mix. The engineer will then apply some technical and editing magic to your work and ensure you make the most of your mixing skills.

As a memento of your day you will receive your very own CD to take home and play to your family and friends and see what the public really think of your music. This is a great experience, perfect for complete beginners and people of all ages. The Croydon and Manchester venues are also able to accommodate those of you who have had a bit more experience and are maybe looking to make a serious demo CD to promote yourself as a future superstar DJ!

This experience is designed to give you a chance to DJ, mix and record in a top recording studio. With expert DJ's and sound engineers on site you will be able to produce your very own CD to take home and play to your family and friends. Your experience will last approximately two hours, and you will get to record your own CD. Music can be provided by the studio, but you are advised to bring your own records to make the most out of the experience (vinyl only in Brighton). This activity is not suitable for people with hearing problems. Under 16's must be accompanied by an adult. CD recording may be subject to guests ability on the day.


Participants may bring up to two spectators to watch.  Complimentary soft drinks are available. Other refreshments can be purchased from nearby café bars.
