Tango was born out of underground Buenos Aires in the late 19th century. As poverty struck, dancing the Tango became such a outlet for emotion, that the dance has stamped its place in history as one of the most impassioned and sophisticated dance styles ever. In fact, Tango has been banned in many countries at some point, but now its steadfastly here for us all to enjoy.
Although watching the pros dancing a Tango makes it look sophisticated and showy, it's a lot of fun and there are easy to learn step-by-step ways of mastering the evocative Tango dance. On this taster Tango class you'll spend around 45 minutes on the dancefloor as part of a group.
