These baby photo plans are great gifts as everyone knows how quickly babies grow, yet we are often so busy taking care of them that those precious first months go unrecorded. This photo plan is specifically designed to capture a newborn's first year, with three separate photo sessions, each taking place approximately three months apart.

It's an ideal gift for the parents of any newborn as the three 5" x 7" images (one per session) that are captured, form a permanent reminder of baby's first year. As there are baby photo plan studios throughout the UK, it really doesn't matter where they live.

During the photo session your photographer will use a selection of backgrounds and props, along with the latest lighting styles to create a series of images just for you. The props are designed for use with babies and young children, allowing them to easily and safely photograph the tiniest newborn babies. You are welcome to bring along your own items to the shoot too such as baby's favourite teddy!

Family members can be included in the sittings, however baby is the main focus of the photoshoot, but we also offer Family Portrait Sessions if you wish to include more than one other person in the photos.

A photo viewing appointment will be arranged approximately two weeks after each portrait session, although some studios may offer instant viewing facilities. Here you can choose your complimentary portrait and order any additional ones you might like. For all experiences you will need to pay a £20 deposit on booking which will be fully refunded after the viewing.

This baby photo plan provides three photo session spaced approximately three months apart. Allow spending 3/4 of an hour at the venue for each sitting. Three 5" x 7" prints of your choice are included, one from each sitting and additional prints can be purchased from the studio. Tea, coffee and water are provided. You may be required to pay a fully refundable booking fee of £20 to secure the date and time of each session.


This baby photo shoot experience is normally available on Tuesday to Saturday all year round (excluding Bank Holidays), depending on studio. Viewing sessions are usually arranged a couple of weeks after the photo session, unless the studio has instant viewing facilities. Into the Blue cannot check date availability for this experience. Once you have purchased a voucher you will book in direct with the operator.

To secure the time and date of each booking at your chosen venue, you will be asked to pay a fully refundable fee of £20. Because all images are professionally retouched, your chosen print can normally be collected from the studio at a later date. Postage can be arranged with the studio (additional fees may apply). My First Year sessions can include another family member although focus is on baby.


Family members are welcome to watch the shoot and some photographic studios have a waiting area where non participating guests can wait.  Studios offer toilet facilities and provide refreshments for guests.
