Hark back to the golden age of glamour girls with these 1950s Pin Up photoshoots! These photoshoots, which take place in a professional studio in Northampton, will really bring out the vintage look with high heels, bright red lipstick and glossy big curls.
From the moment you step into the studio you'll be made to feel relaxed and welcome by your personal assistant who'll be with you throughout the shoot. The first hour or so is spent choosing the right 1950s look for you, with a make up artist who specialises in photographic make up. Coupled with a suitably retro 50s style hairdo, you'll soon get in to character and be ready to glow in front of the lens.
Professional photographer Martin is used to snapping slightly nervous ladies, after all it's something you probably only do once in a lifetime, but he and your PA are adept at putting you at ease to really get the best out of you - and don't forget there's only you in the studio, so you can really let go! To create that authentic backdrop there are loads of 1950s style props and outfits for you to try. Once finished in the studio, you will be able to view your photos and pick your favourite shot to be framed for you.
The 1950s were the heyday of the pin up photograph, with glamorous ladies appearing in cheeky poses with that now classic vintage look we could call burlesque. What we love most about these 1950s Pin Up photoshoots is the fact that its unique and gives you the opportunity to really feel fabulous in front of the camera in that vintage Hollywood style.
You will be greeted to the studio by your personal assistant who will assist you throughout the entire experience. You will receive a complimentary glass of bubbly whilst having a consultation session with the professional stylists. You will have authentic makeup applied and your hair styled to create the vintage look which will last around an hour. The studio offers a large selection of props and outfits for you to choose from. During your shoot session your photographer will take a range of vintage inspired shots. Photographs in underwear are optional. Then follows a viewing session where you may select your free, professionally retouched 5x7 framed image.
This 1950's shoot will last for approximately 4 hours. All dates are subject to availability.
Sessions take place in purpose built modern studio located in Northamptonshire with easy access from the M1.
There is no minimum age however all under 18's must be accompanied by an adult. You are asked to bring along a vintage style bra and knickers set, a pair of hold-up stockings and a selection of high heels.
During your experience you will have exclusive use of the studio. The studio boasts a warm, comfortable and private atmosphere making you feel at ease for your shoot.
