Located less than 60 minutes drive from the capital, this Wiltshire Drop Zone lies in a uniquely tranquil setting within the foothills of the Ridgeway between the southern Cotswolds and the West Country in the ancient village of Wanborough, nr Swindon. Parachute jumps have taken place here for the last five years.

Static Line Course: After completing an in-depth training course with your instructor you'll be ready to jump and fly your own modern "square" parachute and experience the sense of achievement and thrill that can only come from doing it by yourself. Once trained you'll be helped into your parachute equipment and then make your way to the jump plane with your instructor. Once you reach 3,200ft, your training kicks in as the instructor invites you to make that first jump. Seconds later your parachute opens automatically and you guide yourself down to the landing area whilst enjoying a whole new perspective on the countryside during a truly unforgettable descent.
Tandem Skydiving: Offers the full skydiving experience without the need for extensive ground instruction. During the aircraft ascent, you'll get a scenic view of the Wiltshire and Oxfordshire countryside. Your tandem instructor will securely attach you to the dual harness parachute system. You'll exit the aircraft together from 10000ft and freefall for up to 40 seconds with your instructor right behind you. After your parachute is opened, you will enjoy a breathtaking flight that will last another four to six minutes.
Accelerated Free Fall Programme: Is the first step in obtaining your skydiving licence. This is now the world's most popular training method for graduating student skydivers. There are eight levels for you to complete before you are awarded your BPA licence. Each jump requires you to demonstrate your skills in a different manner during freefall.
Provisional membership to the British Parachute Association is included with each jump.

Experiences are available on Saturdays 0900 - 1900. Group bookings may be able to take their experience on a Friday. This skydiving activity is just one of a number of countrywide
parachuting experiences from IntotheBlue.
Max weight men 15 stone, women 13 stone. You must be aged between 16 (with parental consent) and 39 years to make a jump. Students over the age of 40 require a medical form signed by a doctor.
A newly improved inside packing area offers over 200 square metres of carpeted surface to pack at this popular Wiltshire parachute club. Additional packing areas are available outside. The cafe provides snacks and drinks. There are plenty of seating areas to enjoy lunch and take in the view of the landing area. Wanborough offers a wide selection of excellent country pubs, many of which provide first class food seven days a week. Tandem jumps can be recorded on video at extra cost but need to be prebooked. Spectators are welcome to come and watch. The spectator area provides a safe and comfortable area for jumpers and friends. No pets or animals are allowed on site.
