Based in Kent and operating since 1979, this parachuting/skydiving club in Headcorn, has introduced over 35,000 people to the sport and has great access by road from the M20 junction 8 and by rail from the Charing Cross line making this jump venue particularly convenient. Superb views are guaranteed at this Kent parachuting venue. 

The Static Line Course:  Involves a days training during which you will be taught how to wear the equipment, exit the aircraft, steer the parachute, land safely and all associated emergency procedures.  When you leave the aircraft at 3,500 feet a static line will automatically open your parachute.  This method of training is suitable for those wishing to make only one jump or ot continue to progress in the sport.  Courses are run during the week and at weekends.  Jumps take place the following day (weather permitting).

The Tandem Sky Dive: is for the person who would like to experience the sport without taking too much responsibility and is particularly suitable for people wishing to make only one jump.  You can enjoy all the exhilaration of the sport securely attached to your instructor from the time you enter the aircraft until after you land.  The jump is made from between 9,000 and 12,000 feet.  The instructor will open the parachute at 5,000 feet giving you up to 45 seconds in freefall at speeds of 120 miles per hour.  Under the parachute you will be allowed to steer the canopy.  The instructor is in complete control during the flight and landing of the parachute.  A video, along with still photographs, can be made of your descent at an additional cost but may need to be booked in advance.

Provisional membership to the British Parachute Association is included with each jump.

 Availability: This parachute club is open all year round. Jumps takes place on various days during the week and weekends depending on the course chosen with jumps taking place all days except Mondays during the winter season. Requirements:  Weight limits are 14.5 stone for men and 13.5 stone for women. This operator does, however, reserve the right to refuse anyone who they do not consider suitable for parachute training. Minimum age is 16 years (if under 18 written consent must be obtained from parent or guardian). Maximum age (except tandem) is 50 years. If you are 40 years of age or over you will need a certificate of fitness signed and stamped by your doctor. Anyone else will be required to sign a declaration on the day of the course stating no serious illness or disability.

Spectators/facilities: This Kent Skydiving club has extensive facilities and equipment including two aircraft.  There is a full time canteen serving hot and cold food during the day and Wings Bar is open Wednesday through to Sunday in the evening, providing food and drink.  An exit photograph of your Static Line jump or video/photographs of your Tandem jump can be arranged on the day but are not guaranteed unless prebooked. The venue has 15 beds (5 to a room) £10 key deposit, £2 per bed per night.  Available on a first come first served basis, please bring a sleeping bag. The rooms have recently been renovated and provide basic accommodation. There is also a field in which to pitch tents.  Showers are also available in either case.  A local B&B list can be provided when booking. No pets are allowed on site.
