Enjoy a unique aerial view on this Helicopter Sightseeing Tour of Stratford! Stratford upon Avon has become synonymous with legendary playwright William Shakespeare and on this very special tour you'll see all the famous sights associated with the bard from the air.
Taking off from Wellesbourne, your first breathtaking sight is medieval Warwick Castle. Built by William the Conqueror in 1086, the castle is mightily impressive from the air with its majestic turrets. You then climb to around 1000ft before swooping down towards Stratford. You can't miss the recently restored Royal Shakespeare Theatre right next to the River Avon, with Holy Trinity church just behind, where Shakespeare is buried. You'll also get a great view of the higgledy-piggledy timber-clad Tudor buildings that make up the pretty town centre, including Shakespeare's birthplace and Anna Hathaway's cottage.
Your helicopter sightseeing tour of Stratford will last around 30 minutes, giving you plenty of time to see all the main sights of both the main town and the Warwickshire countryside. Make sure you don't forget your camera for some amazing aerial shots that you will treasure.
