Our London helicopter trip from Surrey means you'll be flying over Britain's capital city just minutes after you take off from the airfields near Chobham or Redhill. The flightpath follows the River Thames between Barnes and London Bridges and includes all the most iconic London landmarks. Seeing London from the Bell LongRanger helicopter means your trip offers ample opportunity to take photos, as this particular aircraft offers excellent visibility. She can carry up to six passengers whilst cruising at a speed of 100 knots and will fly at around 1000ft, giving you a very privileged view of London, usually reserved for ‘jet set’ celebrities.
Your helicopter pilot will provide a full commentary over the pilot headsets that you'll be wearing throughout your trip. The route out is the same as the route back, so no on matter on which side of the helicopter you are seated, you will see all the sights including Buckingham Palace, houses of Parliament, London Eye, HMS Belfast, Tower of London, Tower Bridge, Canary Wharf and the Millenium Dome and the Swiss Re 'gherkin'.
Experience Summary: Flights from Chobham last approximately 40 minutes and flights from Redhill approximately 30 minutes, regardless of your choice you'll enjoy a spectacular flight over the key sites of London. The aircraft (usually a Bell 206L) is capable of carrying six passengers in comfort. Your pilot will provide a commentary as you pass over points of interest.
Availability: Flights take place on selected Saturdays and Sundays, usually at least once a month from March to the end of September. Flights are usually available from 10.00 am onwards.

Requirements: Maximum weight is 16 stone, maximum height is 6'5". Minimum age is 2 years old and each passenger must occupy their own seat. You will be required to arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled departure time. All passengers will need to show photographic id.
Spectators and Facilities: Spectators are welcome to come and watch departure and arrival. There is free parking at the airfields along with cafes and viewing areas for passengers and spectators. Toilet facilities are provided.
