These new generation microlights are nothing like the delta wing versions. They look just like normal light aircraft, except that they are super light at less than 450kg. Inside the cockpit isn't high end luxury and glamour, but it has all the same kit with a full instrument panel including horizons, turn co-ordinators and GPS navigation to name but a few.

Trial flights begin with a pre flight briefing and safety checks. The expert pilot will handle the take off and landing and will give you the opportunity to take the controls once airbourne. Microlighting lessons take place Monday to Saturday throughout the year, weather permitting.

Flyers under the age of 17 must have authority from a parent or guardian. The maximum weight limit is 15st 10lb.
Spectators are very welcome and can relax in the flying club lounge. There is a clubhouse onsite serving drinks and snacks.
