Helicopter Experience Wales

Take your helicopter trial flight in Wales and you will be in for an aerial treat. Not only will you have the chance to be in control of the chopper, you will be getting a birds eye view of some of the most beautiful scenery in Wales - from Powis Castle to the Severn Valley.

All experiences start with a full 30 minute ground briefing. After that, it's your choice of a 30, 40 or 60 minute helicopter trial at this school which, as a fully licensed Flight Training organisation (FTO) and type rating training organisation (TRTO), is proud to offer some of the best helicopter lesson instructors in Wales.

Both the 30 and 60 minute helicopter experiences give you plenty of time to sample rotary flight and the controls. The 40 minute experience includes a 'air raising' thrill ride at the end of your helicopter lesson, with the pilot spending a few minutes showing you just what these engineering masterpieces are capable of in the air, so hold on tight, you're in for a few heli manoeuvres!

All experiences include a 30 minute ground briefing followed by your selected flight time (measured from start up to shut down) where you will have the opportunity to take the controls. You'll be accompanied by a fully qualified helicopter instructor. The 40 minute experience follows a similar format but  also includes a thrilling 10 minute demonstration of the helicopters agility and manoeuvrability.

Spectators are welcome to come and watch, there is a Cafe open at weekends offering hot drinks and bacon butties.
