Experience Summary: The sessions run in small groups of no more than six participants and all therapy and flying sessions take place on a 1:1 basis. Guests are never forced to 'face their fear' and are treated with the utmost respect and consideration at all times. During the flight guests can take as much, or as little control as they wish.
Courses include:
- Briefing introduction and welcome
- 60 minute 1:1 session with a qualified therapist
- A 30 minute personal flight, tailored to your requirements
- Buffet Lunch
- A talk on flying and safety aspects
- Full VIP tour of Inverness Airport security
- Guided tour of a commercial jet airliner from a Flybe Captain (with access to areas not usually seen)
- Light refreshments and debrief
Availability: Fear of Flying courses run once a month throughout the year.
Location: The airport is set in the highlands of Scotland just minutes from some of the most beautiful scenery in the UK.
Requirements: There is a minimum age of 13 years and all under 16's must be accompanied by an adult. Participants need to be under 18 stone and less than 6'6 tall. Larger participants can can be accommodated in a 4 seater aircraft for an additional £30 fee, payable on site.
Spectators and Facilities: This fully refurbished flying school has a clubhouse with a club lounge, kitchen, pilot shop, briefing rooms and study areas. Complimentary tea and coffee is provided for guest to enjoy and relax in the lounge. This experience is not suitable for spectators.
