What Can I Expect
Reach for the skies with our exciting range of flying lessons out of Shoreham Airport in West Sussex! We are offering vouchers for 30, 45 and 60-minute flights in two-seater Ikarus light sports aircraft from this popular airfield just outside Brighton.
With the South Downs and Lancing College acting as your stunning backdrop, flying out of Shoreham Airport is really rather special. This historic airport is in Shoreham by Sea, right on the edge of West Sussex's glorious coastline.
Also known as Brighton City Airport, the clifftop aerodrome is just seven miles from that popular seaside town. It's a great choice for flying lessons, as you get the double whammy of views and great tuition!
Lesson flights are on weekdays at Shoreham. Operated using the popular two-seater Ikarus C-42s, you will be sitting up front beside your instructor. All aircraft have dual controls, so you will have plenty of hands-on time flying the plane.
Whilst aspiring pilots are airborne over West Sussex during their Shoreham Airport flying lessons, spectators on the ground can make the most of the excellent facilities around the school, including a visitor centre, restaurant and cafe bar - all boasting excellent views of the main tarmac and two grass runways.

Spectators
- Spectators are welcome to attend
- The airport has an onsite restaurant and bar as well as plenty of viewing areas of the runway
- Brighton is just along the coast, offering hundreds of attractions, shops and restaurants
