Get airborne on a Trial Flight in Exeter! If you've ever wondered what it's like to take off, fly and land in a light aircraft, here's your chance courtesy of this small and friendly flying school based at Exeter airport.
Just a few miles east of Exeter centre, the airport was originally opened as a commercial airport in 1937 and following the war period the aerodrome was upgraded to become a successful commercial airport handling up to one million passengers a year. With a fair few scheduled services flying out of Exeter, it means that there'll be lots going on during your trial flight.
Enjoy a pre-flight briefing with the ground team before being taken out to the plane to be shown around. Once airborne you will be invited to take over the controls to get a feel of what it's like to actually fly, rather than just be a passenger in an aeroplane. Lessons are available nationwide on our main flying lessons page.
