These half hour flight lessons are one of Into the Blues most popular experience gift vouchers, with schools across the UK just waiting to take you flying. Other types of flying lessons are available at all these schools.
Your lesson will start with a briefing from your pilot instructor on the basic principles of flight and an explanation of the three main controls used - the ailerons, rudder and elevator. It all sounds pretty straight forward really, but believe us it's a very different matter when you climb onboard the aircraft...you WILL be actually flying, this is no practice run!
Once taken off and levelled out - it's over to you and the flying fun really begins! We can pretty much guarantee you'll forget all about the magnificent views you enjoyed during take off - you'll be totally engrossed in the fact that you are actually in control of the plane. A truly fantastic flying experience and a perfect way to take your first lesson in flight.
Taking place at flying clubs all over the country in modern high standard training aircraft, the lesson can be treated as the first flight in a course of instruction and may be counted towards a pilots licence.

- Your flight will last around 30 minutes
- Flight times are quoted 'chock to chock', ie. from when the plane starts to taxi, to when it switches off at the end of the lesson
