Reach for the skies with a lesson at this friendly aeroclub in Oxfordshire! Just 15 miles North West of Oxford, this small airfield offers you the chance to fly in virtually unrestricted airspace, so you can really make the most of your flying time.

You can choose from 30 or 60 minute lessons in a four seater Piper Warrior, so a friend can join you in the rear seat to enjoy the splendid views of Oxfordshire, or take a flight in the rather unique Diamond Aircraft Industries' HK36 Super Dimona motorglider.

The Super Dimona is a fixed wing aircraft with a large wingspan that can be flown with or without engine power, so you take off like an airplane but can soar with the engine off - a fun an unusual alternative to a standard light aircraft.

The team at Enstone airfield is an enthusiastic group of aviators who will be only too pleased to introduce you to the world of flying from their delightful sportflying club in the middle of the Oxfordshire countryside. As well as having the chance to take the controls of the aircraft, you'll enjoy the views of the likes of Blenheim Palace and Heythrop Park from the air.

2 seater lessons are in a Self Launching Motor Glider (SLMG) giving you the chance enjoy a demonstration of unpowered flight. 4 seater flights allow you to take along another person to enjoy the lesson from the back seats (subject to the pilots approval on the day). All experiences include a pre-flight briefing and the chance to fly the aircraft.  A personalised certificate is also included. More amazing flying lessons are available by gift voucher nationwide.
Lessons are usually available 7 days a week throughout the year, subject to weather.
The airfield is near Chipping Norton around 15 miles North West of Oxford, within easy reach of Banbury and Bicester. The airfield has good access via junctions 9 or 10 of the M40.
Minimum age is 14 and you need to be 6'4" or under and weigh no more than 14 stone. 4 seater flights offer more space and can usually accommodate guests up to 18 stone in weight. Passengers are accepted at the pilots discretion on the day.
Spectators are very welcome, the club is proud of its friendly atmosphere. There is a clubhouse on site with an outside viewing area overlooking the runway, drinks and snacks can be purchased on site.
