
Take in flora and fauna, villages and woodlands from the air on a hot air balloon ride in the Cotswolds. You can choose whether to go for a morning sunrise or an evening sunset ride any during the week and there's a choice of seven different launch sites the length and breadth of the Cotswolds.
Your hot air balloon ride experience starts with a meet greet of the Cotswold team. After a full safety briefing, it's time to get the balloon inflated and then climb aboard the basket, ready to go airborne. Your expert balloon pilot will be explaining the sights you'll see throughout your ride as the beauty of the Cotswolds unfolds below you.
Reaching up to 3000ft and letting the wind take you and your fellow balloon ride passengers, you'll drift serenely over the countryside. No two balloon rides are the same and taking a camera with you is a must to capture those special moments forever.
Your hot air balloon ride in the Cotswolds is an amazing way to see the world and after choosing a suitable landing site, the pilot will bring the balloon in to land with the ride support crew on hand to secure, deflate and pack up the balloon as well as presenting you with your commemorative certificate and a glass of celebratory Champers!

These 'Mid Week Flyer' experiences lasts approximately 4 hours and include:
- Choice of Morning or dusk flights
- Pilot welcome and flight briefing
- Opportunity to help inflate the balloon
- Balloon flight of around 1 hour
- Groups of no more than 12 guests
- Pilot commentary on points of interest
- Return transport to launch site

The main flying season is from April to the end of October. Flights take place on regular weekday mornings and evenings subject to weather conditions. Bank Holidays and weekends are not covered with this option.

Flights depart from locations in Tetbury, Gloucester, Cheltenham, Cirencester, Bourton on the Water, Cotswold Water Park and Stroud. The exact location will be chosen by your pilot on the day allowing for weather conditions.

Guests must be at least 8 years old, under 16's must be accompanied by a participating adult. You need to be fit enough to climb into the basket and stand for at least an hour. If you have a serious medical complaint or have undergone recent surgery you should seek you doctors opinion before flying. Women who know they are pregnant should not fly.
Outdoor clothing with long trousers and sleeves should be worn along with stout footwear. A hat is also a good idea. Don't forget your camera and binoculars.

Spectators are very welcome to come and watch the balloon depart, arrangements can be made to meet them after the flight.
