As with our premium balloon flights, you will be airborne for approximately an hour as you watch the sun rise around you. These hot air balloon trips are great events for spectators, as they are welcome to join in the fun and follow the balloon in their own vehicle. As you climb higher and higher into the sky, you can watch them shrink to ant-sized people and start to recognise all those landmarks, but in miniature!
Once your balloon has bought you back down to earth, you will be met by the ground crew to enjoy a champagne reception to celebrate your trip. There's plenty of time to take photos and regale your friends and family with tales of your ballooning adventure, before the recovery vehicle returns you to your original launch site. The Weekday morning air balloon flights last approximately one hour, allow three to four hours for the whole experience which also includes the chance to assist with the inflation and deflation of the balloon. Your flight will conclude with a champagne toast and the presentation of a flight certificate, before being returned to the launch site by the recovery vehicle

The main Ballooning season is from April to the end of October. These voucher are valid for morning flights, Monday to Friday ( not including Bank Holidays and subject to availability). Balloon flights rely on suitable wind speed and weather, if you are unlucky with the weather you can rebook another date with the Balloon operator. If you would like to reserve a specific date and time when purchasing you will need to provide the weight of each participant.
You must be a minimum of 4'6" (1.4m) tall and weigh less than 18 stones (114 Kg). Minimum age is 8 years, under 16's must be accompanied by a responsible adult. You will need to climb into the basket and stand for the duration of the flight. The experience is not suitable for pregnant women. It is advisable to wear sensible outdoor clothing and sturdy footwear. Bring a hat and remember launch sites may be muddy in Spring and Autumn.
Spectators are welcome free of charge to watch, but there are no special or separate facilities for spectators at the launch site. Once airborne, spectators can follow the balloon if they wish, at their own risk, but following the ground crew vehicle is not recommended. If spectators arrive at the landing site, they must seek permission from the ground crew to enter the site.
There are many centres across the UK offering balloon flights so there is no need to specify the venue on buying your experience voucher - the recipient can choose the venue when booking their trip.
