Before setting off on your balloon flight, you'll meet the Cotswolds pilot and crew, go through the safety briefing and find out all about inflating a balloon ready for take off. Once you are safely installed in the basket, the pilot will give a blast of gas and you'll be off, rising effortlessly into the air. The wind will determine the exact course of the balloon, but expect to be flying over some of the most beautiful countryside in Gloucestershire, Wiltshire and Oxfordshire.
Once back on the ground after your once in a lifetime hot air balloon flight over the Cotswolds, you'll be invited to raise a glass of Champagne in a toast to your fantastic day out and you'll be presented with a personalised certificate of your airborne adventure too.

Flights take place on regular weekday's and weekends subject to weather conditions. Bank Holidays and weekends flights are available with this option. The main flying season is from April to the end of October.

Flights depart from locations in Gloucester, Cheltenham, Cirencester, Bourton on the Water, Cotswold Water Park, Tetbury,and Stroud. The exact location will be chosen by your pilot on the day allowing for weather conditions.

To fly you must be at least 8 years old, under 16's must be accompanied by a participating adult. You need to be fit enough to climb into the basket and stand for at least an hour. If you have a serious medical complaint or have undergone recent surgery you should seek you doctors opinion before flying. Women who know they are pregnant should not fly.
Outdoor clothing with long trousers and sleeves should be worn along with stout footwear. A hat is also a good idea. Don't forget your camera and binoculars.

Spectators are very welcome to come and watch the balloon depart, there are usually some great photo opportunities of the takeoff, arrangements can be made to meet spectators at the landing site.
