
The Pitts Special is perhaps the most famous aerobatic biplane of all time and this experience you'll be flying in a Pitts piloted by an aerobatics champion Alan Cassidy from the airfield near Maidenhead in Berkshire.
This American designed modern biplane boasts awesome capabilities and never ceases to be a crowd pleaser at air shows around the world. Its amazing power to weight ratio and ability to pull face changing G forces will give you the most exciting ride of your life.
Up in the air you'll be looping the loop, pulling rolls, wingovers and cuban 8s and stall turns over the Berkshire countryside for the aerobatics thrill of a lifetime. And you won't just be passenger on this experience - if you're tempted you'll be able to have a go at flying this wonderfully nippy little aerobatic plane. Will you be the next aerobatic ace?

After a full pre-flight safety briefing explaining the principles of aerobatic flight you'll take to the skies for your aerobatic flight. Your pilot will provide a running commentary throughout the flight as well as giving you the opportunity to take the controls yourself and try your hand at looping the loop. The flight duration includes taxi, take off and landing time.
Max level speed 203 mph, roll rate 200 degrees/second, G limits +6g to -3g, tandem seating, 200bhp.

Flights are available all year round, weather permitting.

The airfield is set in 200 acres on the edge of a picturesque estate in the beautiful Berkshire countryside, it is one of the largest grass airfields in Britain. Situated just three miles from the M4 (J8/9) and six miles from the M40 (J4). Central London is only 35 miles away and easily accessible by train or taxi. Windsor, Ascot, Henley, Reading and Maidenhead are all within easy reach.

Maximum height is 6'0. Maximum weight 14 stone. Minimum age is 16 years. You must be physically fit and in good health. If you have any health concerns you should contact your GP before taking part in this activity.

Spectators are welcome to watch you take off and land. The airfield has free parking and a friendly clubhouse.
