Extra 300L Aerobatics in Yorkshire
Take an Extra 300 aerobatics flight with these expert pilots who have flown aerobatic aircraft all over the world and we can pretty much guarantee you'll be seeing the Yorkshire countryside pass fast underneath you as you fly upside down!
This state-of-the-art Extra 300 is similar to those used in the Red Bull Air Races and is the only aerobatics aeroplane of its kind certified to +/- 10G. It's super powerful and nimble too, capable of climbing vertically 2500ft (0.5mile) and pulling off a barrel roll in less than a second.
These Extra 300s are normally the reserve of professional aerobatic flight pilots, but as a passenger sitting up front in the cockpit you may be taken on barrel rolls, loop the loop, tumbles and even heart-stopping moves like the tail slide. You'll have plenty of time to take the controls and fly this Extra 300 aerobatics plane, as well as normal flight you'll also learn how to perform simple aerobatics yourself. Amazing, once in a lifetime stuff.

Experience Summary: After a friendly welcome and pre flight briefing you will be securely strapped into the front seat of the aircraft. Once airborne your pilot will explain how to fly the aircraft and perform basic aerobatic manoeuvres before handing you the controls. The flight will be tailored to your requirements so can be as hands on or wild as you wish. Flight times are from engine start up to shut down. Availability: Flights take place on selected weekdays and weekends throughout the year.
Location: 13 miles East of York. Leeds, Harrogate and Doncaster are all within easy driving distance with good access via the A1(M) and M62.
Requirements: Minimum age is 14, maximum weight is 16 stone, maximum height 6'4". You should wear comfortable jeans or trousers and soft soled flat shoes.
Spectators and Facilities: Friends and family are very welcome to watch and take photographs, afterwards they are welcome to use the facilities at the aero club.
