Sherlock Holmes was known for his logical reasoning, forensic science skills and being a master of disguise to be able to outwit the perpetrators of heinous crimes. On this walking tour you'll be delving into his world visiting the places described in the stories and used in big screen and TV adaptations of these most popular detective novels.
During the tour on foot you will find locations featured in Conan Doyle's books as well as visiting locations used in the BBC TV adaptation and the lastest big screen feature film. You'll have plenty of time to see these locations close up and take pictures too.
Led by your knowledgeable guide you'll discover the all there is to know about the eccentric pipe-smoking detective on this Sherlock Holmes tour, including the surprising fact that the words 'Elementary, my dear Watson' never actually featured in any of the Conan-Doyle's stories!

Sherlock Holmes walking tours last approximately two hours. You will assisted throughout by an expert tour guide and groups size are kept low to ensure all participants can see and hear the guide with ease. You will begin the tour at The Criterion restaurant at Piccadily Circus. During the tour you will visit many of the iconic book, film and TV locations as well as the streets and alleys Holmes and Watson walked. The tour will finish up at Somerset House on The Strand.

Sherlock Holmes tours take place on selected Saturdays and Sundays from February to October, with usually an 11:00 departure.

The tour is guided and you will head on foot around the sights in central London.

No minimum age is required, however under 12's must be accompanied by a participating adult.

Spectators are not permitted. If you would like friends and family to join you on the tour simply purchase a ticket for the necessary group size. Bring along your cameras as there are plenty of great photo opportunities.
