This one hour bus driving course will allow you to find out what it's like to drive one of the giants of the road, but all in the safety of the off road training centre near Louth in Lincolnshire.

You'll be driving either the 10 ton Leyland Atlantean or Volvo D10M Double Decker which stands at a colossal 14ft and you'll have to remember that you have over 30ft of vehicle behind you!

Under the guidance of your instructor you will be shown how the controls work.  Once you have mastered the basics it's out onto the purpose built course.  The majority of the course is inside the bus but at times you may need to get out to see the cones you have knocked over!

- Allow spending and hour and 45 minutes on site 
- Taster sessions operate on a 2:1 basis
- You will receive 30 minutes drive time and 30 minutes passenger time
- There is a briefing beforehand and debrief after the driving session
- You will be presented with a certificate to take take home with you


- This activity is run on weekdays and weekends throughout the year with various start times both morning and afternoon


- The venue is a purpose built driving centre near Louth in Lincolnshire


- You must be fit, able bodied and 17 years of age or over
- Maximum weight is 18 stone
- Maximum height 1.93m (6'4"), minimum height 1.57m (5'2")
- A full valid UK driving licence will need to be brought and shown on the day
- Participants should wear suitable driving footwear and outdoor clothing for the weather conditions


- Each driver is welcome to bring two spectators free of charge to the venue
- Any additional spectators will be subject to a £5 charge per person      
- Spectators may ride with the driver subject to room in the vehicle at a charge of £10
- Guests are also welcome to watch from the club house where there are toilets and vending machines
- Spectators must be pre booked with the venue
