This mini tank adventure is big fun in a small tank! You'll be tackling the special tank adventure course in these one-manned mini tank marvels and with around 30 mins of driving time, these mini tanks will have you grinning from ear to ear.

The mini tanks you'll take out on your full-tracked adventure are 3 feet tall, 7 feet long, come in at a chunky 250 kilos and the dual caterpillar tracks are powered by a Honda engine. Key to being a good mini tank driver is mastering the two lever control system which allows you to take on the tricky terrain.

The purpose built assault course will have you heading over bumps, humps, through ditches and over logs.

Your mini tank experience will last around an hour and includes, welcome and safety briefing, introduction to the tank controls, tank driving practice session and tank obstacle course. You will spend approximately 30 minutes driving the tank.
You may be part of a small group each taking turns to drive the mini tank assault course under the guidance of an experienced instructor. These tanks do not fire projectiles.


Most weekends throughout the year, subject to vehicle availability and extreme weather conditions. Selected weekdays are also available.


The venue is a military driving centre near Burton on Trent, within easy reach of Leicester, Birmingham, Derby, Nottingham and East Midlands Airport, via the M42 and M1. 


Minimum age is 7 years, maximum weight is 18 stone. Wear clothes that you don’t mind getting wet and dirty and if possible bring a spare set to change into. Overalls are provided along with protective headgear. Boots or stout footwear are essential. Maximum group size is 10. 


Spectators are welcome to attend, a £20 fee for each guest applies and includes tea and coffee.   There's plenty of opportunity to get up close to the vehicles, ask questions and take photographs.
