Jump in a tank and crush a car? Is this legal? It certainly is and at this centre in Scotland it's positively encouraged, so gather your nerves, climb into the hot seat, start up those engines and get car crushing!

We love this experience. Not only do you get to dress up as army cadet, you also spend time behind the controls of one seriously large tank before you head to the ultimate test - your tank car crush challenge. Imagine your average reasonably priced car just sitting there minding its own business, then along you come in your 18 tonne tank, revving up the 6.5l supercharged Rolls Royce engines and attacking the poor car with your chunky tracks...

As you attack, listen to the sound of the metal buckling and the windows shattering as you literally drive your tank straight over the bonnet and roof of the car. Look back and see the absolute automotive carnage you've made - this is truly one of the most exhilarating experiences you can possibly do. Utterly brilliant.

To make your car crush experience in Scotland even more mental, you can actually take your own car to crush! We wouldn't recommend using the family saloon you arrive in, but if you do happen to have an old car that is only fit for scrap, you can help it on its way by crushing it to smithereens.

Experience Summary: Once kitted out on your camouflage cladding and face paint you will be taken out on an off road course as you learn how to handle the controls of the 18 tonne tank yourself. Once confident you will control the tank as your crush a car. You  be will receive a certificate at the end of your experience of your achievements. All tuition and car crush driving is under one to one exclusive tuition.

Availability: Please allow for one and a half hours for this experience. Car crush experiences run on both weekdays and weekends and are subject to availability.

Location: Car crush experiences take place in Dundee in Northeast Scotland. There is easy access to Dundee and Perthshire city centres and major motorway networks.

Requirements:  To drive the tank you must be over 5ft in height. Please note all under 16's must be accompanied by an adult.

Spectators and Facilities: Friends and family are welcome to come along. A 'commanders' ticket can be purchased for anyone aged 5-17+. This ticket will allow them to ride in the back seats of the tank and command hatch, receive commando training, receive camouflage cladding and face paint and have access to the secret bunker. Commander tickets range from £10 - £20 depending on age and are payable on the day.
