Truck Driving in Lincolnshire
This is your chance to get behind the controls of an authentic Bedford MJ army truck and put it through it's paces on a challenging off road course.
You will be amazed at the terrain this huge vehicle can handle - steep climbs, ruts, mud, water and stomach churning descents are just some of the hazards to be found on this vast off road site. Piloting this unique vehicle is like driving a regular 4x4 but from six feet in the air!
After an introduction and safety briefing you will be introduced to your vehicle, with no ABS, traction control or power steering you will be relying on your own driving skills to negotiate the course. Don't worry, your instructor will provide constant driving tips and advice and as there is no set course the route you choose will depend on your experience, ability and stamina. The course can be extremely muddy and if you do get stuck your instructor may invite you to leave the cab and help secure towing cables! You will soon learn that the key to getting from A to B in something this large is to use your head and pick your route carefully.
A certificate of achievement will prove to friends and family that you have tamed this four wheel drive giant!
