Hummer Thrill - Leicestershire
The Hummer is wider than most people's garages, with a six litre supercharged engine, weighs nearly three tonnes and is over six feet tall. It does 0-60 in around six seconds and this is a great way to get to drive a real Hummer H2 Supercharged!
Your experience starts with a welcome, introduction and safety briefing on circuit driving techniques. You will then head out for two demonstration laps of the circuit with a professional instructor usually driving a BMW Alpina D3. Once you have a feel for the layout of the circuit it's time to jump into the driving seat and enjoy four high speed laps of the circuit in the amazing military-built Hummer H2 Supercharged.
Under the guidance of your instructor you will soon be making smooth and rapid progress around this purpose built racetrack. Measuring 1.8 miles in length and 10 metres wide, it boasts long fast straights, high speed corners, a demanding chicane and, very importantly, wide run-off areas should you get a little over zealous with the controls! At the end of your experience you will be presented with an individual driving assessment and personalised certificate. In total you will be driving the Hummer for over seven miles.

Experience Summary: The Hummer Thrill lasts 40-60 minutes and includes: Welcome, introduction and driving brief, two demonstration laps with an instructor driving a BMW or performance hot hatch, four driving laps in the Hummer H2 Supercharged, a personalised driving assessment and certificate. In total you will be driving for over 7 miles.
Availability: Experiences take place on selected Saturdays and weekdays from March to October. Various start times are usually available.
Location: A purpose built racing circuit near Loughborough easily accessed from the M1/A46. The circuit is 1.8 miles long, containing both technically demanding and fast sections, a perfect circuit to get a real taste of performance driving.
Requirements: Full valid driving licence. Drivers shorter than 5' or taller than 6'6" and/or weighing more than 17 stone may have difficulty being accommodated.
Spectators and Facilities: Spectators are welcome and there's usually the possibility of enjoying high speed passenger rides (additional fee payable on the day). Refreshments are available to purchase, toilet facilities and viewing areas are provided.
