For many, childhood days are halcyon days - especially when they involved playing outside, getting a bit muddy and having fun with those play trucks. Well, here's your chance to re-create those days with this big toys driving experience, suitable for big girls and big boys!
The session starts with sign in and a short safety briefing, then it's time for some serious fun. You will drive a British-spec monster truck - based on a Toyota HiLux or similar utility truck, only a lot, lot bigger! Get to grips with the handling as you take on the challenge of the purpose built off-road track.
Then it's time to step up a gear with the full size, US-spec monster truck. Truly larger than life and big, big fun as you tackle more off-road terrain taking in bumps, slopes, water, mud and much more! The experience doesn't end there. Last but not least is your chance to drive a Kubota earth mover - come on, admit it you've always wanted to have a go! Just make sure you don't dig up the driveway...
Experience summary: The experience lasts for approximately two hours and there will be a maximum of three people in a group. Each driver will have at least 10 mins actual driving time on each vehicle and will be spectating or a passenger on the vehicle when not driving.
Availability: This experience is available all year round and runs up to three days a month, at weekends.
Requirements: You must be at least 18 years old and capable of driving a manual gearbox. Drivers who are over two metres tall or weighing over 20 stones may not be able to be accommodated in all the vehicles. Drivers are asked to wear comfortable, loose fitting clothing suitable for outdoor activities and flat-soled shoes that will provide a good grip and support on muddy, uneven terrain.
Spectators and Facilities: Up to two spectators per driver are welcome to attend on the day. There are no indoor viewing areas and as there are vehicles driving around the site, it is not suitable for very young children and all spectators attend at their own risk.

I was always going to my hubby about wanting a big 4x4, so he thought it would be funny to see me trying to drive these massive things - especially as I am only 5ft 4! Everyone on site was really friendly and I actually did alright in the end..with the help of some very patient instructors.
