Supercar Driving Day

You have heard all the arguments about which car is really the best and now with this supercar driving day, you can find out first hand as you drive not one but five of the hottest machines of the past decade on a fast circuit in Oxfordshire or Yorkshire. Porsche, Ferrari, Aston Martin, Subaru and Audi - all await you.

Aston Martin V8 Vantage:  This new addition to the Aston range combines blistering performance with the kind of luxury and refinement that the brand is famous for.  The growling 4.3 litre V8 delivers 380bhp to the rear wheels, propelling the Vantage from 0-60 in under five seconds and on to a potential top speed of 175mph.

Porsche 996:  Hailed by aficionados as one of the finest 911 Porsche's built, the 996 packs 320bhp and will scorch from standstill to 60mph in just 4.9 blinding seconds.  If you only drive one Porsche, this should be it!

Audi R8:  Massive in style and performance, the R8 is a true sports car for the 21st century.  Lightweight construction, supreme handling and a peach of an engine make this car a winner on all fronts.

Ferrari 360:  Hold on tight as this mid-mounted 3.6 litre V8 engine will power the brave from 0-62mph in just 4.3 seconds.  The prancing horse on the bonnet says it all, as you drive one of the world's most famous supercars!

Lamborghini Gallardo: A V10 monster that gets heads turning wherever she goes, these two door coupe and spider sports cars are one of the hottest mid-engine all wheel drive super cars out there at the moment.

Your experience will begin with a welcome and briefing which will cover the format of the day and all safety and driving protocol issues.  You will then be divided into groups of five to rotate through the driving activities.  You will drive each of the supercars on the wide open tarmac runway of the airfield, accompanied by an instructor who will be able to provide you with tips to help improve your performance throughout.  At the conclusion of the activities, the day will end with a debrief session and the chance to ask more questions.  Certificates are not provided for this activity. In total you will have between 35 and 40 minutes at the wheel.  As five drivers share each car, there will be some waiting time between drives.  Total experience time is between three and a half and four hours.

Selected weekdays and weekends March to December.  Half day sessions running approximately three and a half hours, starting at 0830 and 1300. The exact line up of cars may be subject to change without notice, according to availability.

The experiences are held at a private driving centre near Great Tew in Oxfordshire.

All participants must be aged 18 or older and be in possession of a full UK driving licence for a minimum of one year. Maximum height is 6'6" (1.98m) and the minimum 5' (1.52m)  Maximum weight is 16 stone (101.6kg).  All participants will be required to sign an indemnity before taking part in any of the driving activities.  You are advised to wear casual, comfortable clothing and flat-soled shoes.  Safety helmets will be provided and must be worn during all driving and ride activities.

Spectators are welcome, free of charge.  Spectators are required to sign an indemnity as a condition of admission.  All children under 11 must be accompanied by an adult.  There is a hospitality suite onsite serving drinks and snacks. Dogs are not permitted.
