This Subaru drive day in Staffordshire promises turbocharged, all-wheel drive power for your driving delight and delectation that is sure to leave you wanting more as you hurtle around the purpose built race track at high speeds.
The Subaru Impreza WRX Sti (That's Subaru Tecnica International, Scooby fans!) is quite simply awesome. This Subaru not only looks the business in fine blue mica with huge whale tail, aggressive air intake on the bonnet and those sparkling gold 18" alloys, but it is also the business under the bonnet; oozing torque with its turbocharged boxer engine kicking out 300bhp.
On this Subaru drive day you'll get strapped in to the racing Recaro seats and you'll drive six blisteringly fast laps around the Staffordshire circuit. As soon as you get comfortable with the racing line, you'll find (much like Colin McCrae, Richard Burns and Petter Solberg all did when they won the WRC in their Scoobies) that the Subaru has the rather lovely habit of sticking to the road like glue, no matter how tightly you enter the hairpins and s-bends. Oh and the Subaru drives as fast as something off a shovel that we're not allowed to say. True driving heaven.

Both Subaru drives include a drivers briefing, 6 laps driving around the circuit in the Impreza Sti, a drivers de-brief and a personalised certificate. All drivers are accompanied by an instructor whilst driving. The Subaru Experience also allows for two high speed passenger laps in a performance car.

Experiences take place on regular Saturdays, selected Sundays and occasional weekdays from late January to early December. Morning and afternoon times are normally available. The Subaru
Thrill will last approximately one hour and the Subaru
Experience will last approximately two.

This driving centre is near Stafford and offers drivers the chance to drive the vehicles at speed around a 1.1 mile 'airfield' style course that combines fast straights, tight hairpins and chicanes.

You must hold a current valid driving licence, weigh under 18.5 stone and be less than 6'6" tall.

The venue provides a viewing area to allow spectators to see the cars in action. There are also catering facilities, toilets, free parking and a play area for kids. Spectators can also enjoy a free 4x4 passenger ride. Additional driving activities and passenger rides are usually available to purchase on the day. Between the hours of 07.45 and 17.45 a free minibus will operate between Stafford Train Station and the activity centre. By choosing this greener way to travel drivers will receive a £10 voucher and spectators a £5 voucher to spend at the venue.
