Go karting goes high tech at this circuit in Surrey! Camberley is the venue for this full-on 400m indoor go karting circuit, which uses high quality 200cc karts with up to 12 on the track at any one time.
The centre has a stunning light show to illuminate the venue and boasts a state-of-the-art electronic track timing system, with the scores and the data being shown on large LCD screens. The karters even get digital track time sheets to take home, so you have a record of your go karting race times.
The Camberley circuit stands out as having loads of overtaking opportunities, as well as long straights where karters can put their foot to the metal travelling at speeds of up to 40mph just centimetres off the floor. Thrilling stuff.
If you chose a go karting experience in Camberley you can opt for an Open Timed Race session or go for the very popular Grand Prix session, which will see you competing against other drivers to be crowned go karting king or queen of Camberley!
Both experiences include a full briefing session and hire of the race suits, helmets and gloves. The open timed race includes 2 x 15 minute race sessions with a break in between. At the end of both sessions drivers will be given a full race report to see how they got on. Open grand prix experiences include practice laps, 4 qualifying heats and a series of 'last chance' semi final heats. 4 winners from each semi final will compete in the 6 lap grand final. The winner will be presented with the champion trophy on the podium. High quality 200cc Karts are used for both race experiences and race suits, helmets and gloves are provided. Open Timed Races are available Monday to Sunday, anytime (excluding Saturdays) with the experience lasting approximately 1.5 hours. Open Grand Prix Races take place once a month on Sunday and last for approximately 3 hours.
This indoor race circuit is located in Camberley, Surrey with easy access from the M3 J4.
There is a minimum age of 16 years old required. The maximum weight limit is 18.5 stone and the maximum height is 6'4''. Participants must have an inside leg length of 29 inches (from the crotch to the base of the shoe). Drivers are asked to wear comfortable clothing and flat soled shoes.
Spectators are very welcome and there are viewing areas of the track. Food and drink is available from the 'Fuel Bar' onsite. The venue boasts state of the art electronic timing systems and large LCD screens displaying drivers laps and times. Changing rooms are available for racers. There is free parking onsite.
